Hi Cary,

By definition practically, when orders turn up, that will be during the low revenue quarters. Otherwise, where are the high revenue quarters going to come from? :-)

Like the Peter Lynch commercial lately, there have been 9 recessions followed by 9 recoveries. Recoveries are batting 1000. Betting against the US economy has been and remains a losing proposition.

Thus the interest in LRCX's growing backlog. Might it be the indicator of the actual turn? I just don't have the confidence to take much more risk based upon that sole indicator in the sector. Maybe NVLS will have good news to share on Monday????

Regards,
Ian
