does this information about Frontier and the pink sheets come
from?

As a point of information, the pink sheets and the bulletin
board are two different creatures. Most quote servers will
not access true pink sheet stocks. Even the bulletin board
is itself two distinct boards, the OTC bulletin board and the
Nasdaq bulletin board. The NASD takes great pains to draw
the distinction between the two, although that distinction
often gets blurred.
