Dear AMS - I am concerned that your critique of Alan's book might discourage less experienced traders from buying it. If you found no value in the parts you read then you are indeed fortunate and blessed with exceptional experience, market insight, and trading skill. Then again, perhaps undiscovered gems await in the unread parts. I also found it hard to read, but only because it was so deep (at least from my limited experience) that I could only read two or three pages at a time before being overwhelmed by the need to stop and assimilate the material. I took two months to read it the first time. I return to it frequently. It is one of less than twenty outstanding books that I keep by my computer to re-read for ideas at quiet times. Though I am not even remotely a great trader, I have discovered at heavy cost trading techniques which I have not seen in print that I wouldn't sell you for the mere price of a book. From that perspective, I find Alan's book to be an excellent value. Best regards. - Mike
