No Hollywood doesn't sell cigarettes, Big Tobacco does. I think they take money from Big Tobacco to advertise them by including them as stage props. I agree it is hypocritical for the Hollywood types to do it but it is Big Tobacco who sells and makes profits and new addicts from them. And isn't cigarette advertising strictly controlled? Are movies included? Advertising in this way is not new,eg Frank Sinatra and Paul Newman plugged Budweiser beer in many of their movies....
