Yes, I remember. Also, Mao's "Power grows out of the barrel of a gun".

Both derive from the totalitarian idea that being big and tough is all that's needed. That was fine in medieval times, worked for a while, to a limited extent, in Russia and China [and still does in many countries] but in the modern free, democratic world, it doesn't work as well.

Those who depend on raw power will have their citizens and capital flowing to better places.
