Possibly because the bin Ladin family is very very wealthy, and has a very close relationship with the ruling family which has made the bin Ladins so rich. Osama would like to topple the ruling family in Saudi. This naturally does not sit well with the king, and puts the bin Ladin family in a precarious place, and endangers their source of wealth.
