I doubt the Chinese would back Bin Laden. The Chinese make much more sense.

But to be frivolous for a moment, I would like the New York Yankees to beat Oakland. I don't think they will, however.

But thinking about that is much more important. It's nice to cut out and root for a ball club. You, me, all these news links they make little more impact than a drop of dew falling off a leaf. I want to see what's going on in the World Series. Being concerned about football, baseball, instead of Afghanistan would make a terrorist more crazy than if he woke up with a pig.

And I kinda think it's important to wonder about whether Oakland beats New York or not. Why? Because Genghis Khan beat Afghanistan, Oakland should beat New York.

You can make book on Oakland/New York. Vegas sez you can't make book on US versus Afghanistan. That should be a clue.

I still like the Yankees though. I'm rooting for the Yankees and the United States, but if the Oakland A'a beat the Yankees then I'm still rooting for the United States.

EDIT. I'm a bigot so I can't root against the Yankees or the United States. Everyone else, well, being politically correct was never important.

I am still stunned that I am a bigot, but it has saved me a lot of money with respect to charitable donations.
