Matey, news out on your pick CNB-v: Canabrava purchases five township claims Canabrava Diamond Corp CNB Shares issued 43,883,506 Oct 10 close $0.23 Wed 10 Oct 2001 Property Agreement Also Berland Resources Ltd (BNL) The Canadian Venture Exchange has accepted for filing a term sheet dated Oct. 3, 2001, between Canabrava and Berland, whereby Canabrava has acquired a 100-per-cent interest in four Staples township claims and one Casselman township claim located in the Porcupine mining division, Ontario. In consideration Canabrava will pay $100,000 and issue 100,000 common shares in stages over a three-year period. Upon Canabrava earning its 100-per-cent interest, Berland will be paid a royalty equal to 2 per cent of gross overriding royalty. Canabrava is granted a right to purchase 1 per cent of the royalty for $1-million, which is subject to further exchange review and acceptance. Berland will retain the remaining 1 per cent provided that Canabrava will have a right of first refusal should Berland want to sell or dispose of the royalty.
