Paul: I do have faith in America. My concern is more for the damage that has been down and the time it will take to make repairs. This is certainly not the end of the road. But we might be in a slow speed zone with some big potholes that have yet to work their way into the budget. I am happy to see that America has withstood the bulk of the unwinding of the bubble AND being suddenly thrust into in a new era of security concerns. But I am not convinced we will escape this painful process without something approaching a global recession -- bet of luck to you also.
