I did a Linear Regression on the monthly spx from jan '82 through jan '95 and then calculated the slope and extended to the current date. The idea was to discard the bubble and establish the heart of the great bull run from 1982. The LR line, by this method, is currently at spx 695 and rising 2.532/month.
