UF - saw a news iteem a couple of days ago about there being literally dozens of new cdna gagdets about to come on to the market.

BTW I think that we shouldn't be dissapointed about the reducing number of global handest sales. Most of these used to be GSM but slowly and irrevocably they are gonig to become cdma and royalty bearing sales.

It must be the case that you can't have 500m handest sales and growing for for years to come. Much better that we get 70m and climibing as data takes over. So if global handset sales reduce to 300m it may be a problem for NOK, MOT etc but it should not be an issue for the Q.

Also as far as all these new gadgets are concerned I think we saw a glimmer fo what this revolution might mean with the KDD announcement.

Most people on this planet haven't the fiantest idea what is about to hit the world just as most people in 1980 had no idea how big MSFT was to become.

I wish we could cheer DH up and get MM to become a bull again. MM is a great bull and is enough to drag the entire market upward when he gets going, he's good for at least 1,000 points on the NAZ. No wonder they like on the CFZ.

Our rallying cry should be " Who needs Abby Joseph Cohen when we have MM around?"

Best,

L
