NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- Stock prices look to add to gains Thursday following a smashing session on Wednesday.

Techs in particular look to extend their upside as Yahoo shares (YHOO) lift in the wake of the company's earnings report.

December S&P 500 futures rose 2.80 points, or 0.3 percent, and were trading about 2.40 points above fair value, according to HL Camp & Co. Nasdaq futures advanced 13.00 points, or 1.0 percent.

Treasury bonds traded close to flat levels, with the 10-year Treasury note up 1/32 to yield ($TNX) 4.595 percent while the 30-year government bond added 2/32 to yield ($TYX) 5.35 percent.

Only weekly initial claims, seen coming in at 541,000, will be out alongside the September import and export price indexes. Read and check economic calendar and forecasts.

In the currency sector, the dollar put on 0.4 percent to 120.86 yen while the euro slipped 0.4 percent to 90.66 cents.
