the famous person was falling down drunk

I observed a famous person behaving badly back in the '80s when a TV movie starring two then-famous TV actresses was being filmed in Houston and included scenes in the Galleria shopping mall. My office was nearby, so I went to check it out one afternoon. A scene was being set up at the ice skating rink below and I noticed that Famous Actress 'A' was pacing back and forth, obviously agitated about something. Finally, she whipped off her jacket and threw it to the floor and during the tantrum apparently bumped her knee on something. She was limping badly, and a manager/agent type hustled her away. I naturally thought I should get a closer look, and in going down the stairs came upon sobbing, swearing Actress 'A' sitting on a landing with her aide trying to calm her down. The source of the problem was that Famous Actress 'B' was habitually late in arriving for their scenes. As I passed by, 'A' looked up and glared at me. It wasn't a pretty sight.
