James, BP still unacceptable. Just got back from DR's office was 230/124. He scheduled me for cardiologist FRI. I've been thru over 50 different drugs, no success. Most of them my body doesn't tolerate. Strange thing , for a while I stopped all medication and BP dropped. Another odity, when I first entered the DR's office today BP was 157/100. They had an emergency and I sat there in the cold for over an hour, then it was taken again, 230/124. Something is drastically wrong with their standard for testing and comparison. I think some people should have high BP as a normal operative situation. I recall in about 1990 a cardiologists took mine and it was 230/120. He had a panic attack and immediately put me in the hospital for 5 days. Nothing changed. After all the testing(and money) they said I had essential hypertension. I asked what that meant. Answer, you have hypertension and we don't know what's causing it.

I wonder how they set their standards?

God bless,

David
