That's spectacular, and the stock just sits there. I haven't invested a dime in this yet, as I'm probably like most, "What, diamonds, what's that?", but even I can see there is something going on here. For those who want to do some DD, here's a map of the Saskatchewan diamond play: shoregold.com
The primary plays are Shore, Kensington, and Skeena. I've poked around here, but really don't know much about management abilities, or the deal structure. KRT is tied into one with DeBeers where they have to match exploration funding, a tough order. Shore doesn't have any money and I've noticed the Pres. really likes to pay himself the monster salary and options rather than being a direct investor. Skeena is small.
So far there are indications of HUGE kimberlite bodies. The diamond quality appears to be quite high. The mining costs here are much, much lower than NWT (I've read $10/t). The big question has been grade, and this Shore news (if it's credible) might seem to answer that?
I'll throw it open, anybody done any hard work on this? |
