Hi loantech. Here are a few comments following your question about PLY's chances to find something interesting.

I have read Mosher's geological report available on PLY web site. Unfortunately, this report has not convinced me that this large anomaly has a near underground bedrock origin. Here are a few elements supporting my conclusion:

1) The anomalitic values are restricted to the first 20-30 cm. And they disappear so rapidly going down that I can't see how all this material comes from underneath.

2) The basal conglomerate exposed in the aroyo and at the well DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY MINERALIZED CLAST. Remember that this conglomerate is also of near bedrock origin!!!!

3) There is no known minaralization exposed WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE PROPERTY. Not even a single clast or little boulder! This is very very disappointing.

4) The soil is a loess, which is some kind glacial material displaced mainly by wind, topography and surface waters. I really can't explain how the mineralization reached surface without even contaminating the soil on its way up. Impossible IMHO.

5) At least 3 companies collected samples on the site. It's clear that they were safisfied with their results (and did no JV).

My conclusion: The source of this anomaly is not coming from underneath.

But since the only way to confirm (or invalidate) that conlusion is to use the «truth machine», so let's see what they will (or won't) find.
