I think we ought to have compulsory service of a year or two for all 18 year olds and make 'em do the crap jobs. I think compulsory service is close to slavery. Perhaps indentured service would be close because its for a limited term and they will have more legal rights then most slaves have had but still the idea is disturbing. Tim
