Larry, The numbers are the same whether semi-log or linear chart. I use semi-log, so the linear regression line actually looks like a broad curve. The calculation is a "least squares" calculation based on monthly closes (in this case). -edit- Linear regression analysis doesn't require a chart at all, in contrast to many other indicators.
