GST A global recession is pretty much unavoidable. The world (ex China and Afghanistan(since the economic activity there possibly couldn't contract ;-) )) is already in one. What's pertinent for us is that the biggest bull markets are born in the depth of recessions. imo. now is the time to start buying in, and be prepared to average down. I agree that there are plenty of potholes, but we want to avoid the rush hour on the freeway. ack--mixed metaphors, whatever! btw today the market is behaving like its Nineteen ninety nine! I am a little overcome by nostalgia :) -PWM
