Well, Suh. Since you asked. My personal opinion (which won't even get you a long, tall drink of water) is that cleaning up some of the "preferred" deals has given a few folks (well, at least one ... me) a bit more confidence. General Magic is not out of the woods, but it has taken a positive step. I don't think management has a lot of wriggle-room. This step gives me the sense that they are doing what they can with the resources they have available.

Say, Doc, what's the technical name for a cockeyed optimist?

In the interest of honesty, I'll say that I bought quite a few (to me) shares as soon as I heard that GMGC had closed a couple of the preferred deals. I sold them this morning. That still leaves me with a sizeable chunk that I've accumulated over the past couple of years. Since I bought some of those very cheap, I actually expect to get out alive (if I live long enough) ... (Oh, I do hope you see the humor in that).

Fred
