Aero,

I think we're reading the charts the same way, in general. My view of the VIX is that we are in the hold (and, when desirable, take profits stage) now until the the VIX 27-29. I think it's a little bit late in the run to be adding any big positions. In more normal times (and these are anything but normal times) I would be inclined to wait for a VIX of sub 24 to run for cover/short; for me VIX at 27 is "low" enough to start cash/short.

In short, the VIX is telling us to be, to remain, bullish here for a while. So I'm bullish. When it tells me to be bearish, then I'll be bearish. I know how to take orders, even though I've never served under martial authority. I have served, humbly and without decoration or distinction, more than two decades under marital authority.

Naz is up about 4% today.

OT: Another bullish sign, Archipelago has put out another cutting edge "what if there were no competition" commercials, this time a prime time show called, "America's Most On Time Buses." Now, when will the WSJ deposit Scott and Paula (in the elevator) in the video ashcan?
