bmw I am not saying that pIII is faster but rather trying to establish on what basis chips should be compared. Let say if pIII-1GHz would score 100% better than p4-2GHz on all benchmarks. Would p4-2GHz be still considered faster than pIII-1GHz? Is p4-2GHz 2.5 times faster than Itanium - 800MHz? Regards -Albert
