Rtz is the largest single suf shareholder, aren't they ... and they've got a member on the board, Martin [?] .... i dunno, interesting question, i guess you'd have to look at the alternatives from their viewpoint, like maybe if somebody else might want Messina possibly at some point ...... the pro to it is the impressive earning power of Messina of course, with both Klipspringer and Camafuca seeming to show promise again ... then, weighing against the stock now are the memories of Marsfontein petering out fast, combined with Camaphuqueup and previous Klip disappointments, and board infighting, etc etc .... none of which is likely to influence a professional judgement, so you're left with The Big One - political risk .... will RSA blow up or not, and if so sooner or later? ..... question makes retail nervous, no doubt about it eh ..... as for scuttlebutt, i don't know, don't get out much, so no idea ... but i'll raise your question on the suf thread .... cheers

ps - i haven't added yet ... the 'if it can't break three loonies what's the point' theory
