"Daytrading rule"... I know there was a discussion awhile ago on this board about the new Daytrading rule, and what would be allowed with this new rule. Am I correct, that with this rule, no more that three "daytrades" are allowed in one week? (buying and selling the same security in the same day.) A security that is purchased one day, and sold the next day would not be one that would be considered a "daytrade". Likewise a security that is shorted one day, and covered the next day is also not considered a "daytrade". Is this information correct? Thanks!
