Hmmm....

The market is generally smarter than you or I.

We had a bubble, which I guess we could say reflected the overcapacity. Why we got to that valuation, is another matter.

But maybe we went down too far and anticipated a worse recovery than we're going to get. That would be characteristic of a bear market.

Maybe the stock market is correctly anticipating a recovery better than we think we're going to get.

It wouldn't be the first time that analysts were wrong.
