carranza Looks like engineer was right on the money on this one. eom Just another Mobile Data Service Provider going belly up because there is no mass market for High Speed Mobile Data! Metricom couldn't do it either. But, of course it's fun to somehow imagine that the market is really there.. As a matter of fact.. Most here will tell you.... It's almost "bursting at the seams". And they are all waiting for CDMA!! Just like the bunch that laughed when Iridium filed Bankruptcy.. Of course it wasn't because there was NO MARKET for GSMPCS services.. Of course not.. The market was HUGE!!! Everyone was just waiting for that CDMA stuff.. Not that yucky TDMA Iridium stuff.. Yes, CDMA Technology... Shhhh!! Listen closely!!! You can hear it!! Shhh!! LISTEN TO THE TECHNOLOGY!!! In the end.. It was all the same.. CDMA, TDMA, GPRS, WCDMA, WI-FI, etc.. How much more confirmation do you want that there is no mass market for High Speed Wireless Data??
