I am quite excited by my recent "discovery" that I can calculate MAE and MFE with ProTA. Jeff is very helpful with the code. I really hope ProTA can evolve to a version that takes care of intraday data. My project of adapting my EOD swing model to intraday trading is close to an end. It took me a solid 5 months and many hours of coding and re-coding. Although more analysis is needed, I did an experiment with several market calls on my website and so far it works quite fine. My conclusion is that very short-term (1-5 days) speculation is something achievable and rewarding. Will publish some statistical analysis on my website: geocities.com
