barjo_orlean: If there is not a leveling out in AMD market share gain this quarter given INTC's pulling out all tyhe stops to try to light a fire under the anaemic P4, it would be miraculous...INTC has taken a very sharp knife to P4 prices by necessity in q3, convinced Dell to all out market the P4 and, no doubt, unleashed a plethora of marketing assaults from the "bag of tricks" acquired over the years...In short, panic levels of concern over the non-starter level of sales reached by the P4 in q2 has resulted in a strategy of sell at any cost...INTC might be able to stuff the channel in q3 with P4's but unless P4 sales catch fire, INTC is fast approaching the precipice...Tough road ahead for INTC and the P4 now that the marketing ammo is verging on empty for the P4...
