A businessman, who may be a good person, but who commits a sin like lying about a material fact, etc., to complete a business deal, is a bad businessman. But, that does not mean he is a bad person.

Then what, pray tell, are the criterion you find significant in evaluating the "goodness" or "badness" of a person? Apparently, it has nothing to do(if we are to judge by your post) with the fact of SIN. You certainly present some neat ideas...
