I'm glad to hear that someone finds our nonsense interesting. Tom and I are "forum vets" from way back and we seem to get on together because we both try not to get too "heavy", which is a problem with too many posters on too many threads. In fact, if we can share a bit of humor, then that's fine, too. I'm using my real name and, I presume, so is Tom. Tom has a famous namesake in the "movie" industry who you might check out when you have nothing better to do.
Yes, this thread is quiet but that suits me. I participate in only one other forum, in SA, but there I don't use my real name because it's really wild and mainly about politics, racism and such evils. There, anyone can use any nick, even someone else's, whites pretend to be blacks, Jews pretend to be Muslims, etc. Also one can post pictures, sound bytes etc. So, you can just imagine what transpires. I like it because it's really about "freedom of speech" with no holds barred. Sometimes, however, if a post is too bad, or someone complains, the editor will remove it. |
