MORE FROM OUR WONDERFUL OMNIPOTENT, ALL-WISE COLLEGE STUDENTS

And this time it’s from Brown University. This is a campus where the annual tuition is around $32,000. That’s right … Mommy and Daddy have to spend upwards of $125,000 to send their precious little babies to Brown for four years.

Well, they had a little peace rally at Brown. At the end of this bit I’ve included a link to an article about the rally in the Brown Daily Herald --- I particularly want you to read some of the responses to the article.

But first --- a few points of interest. The article says the students were chanting “1,2,3,4, we don’t want a racist war.” Racist? Where the hell does this “racist” thing come from. It comes from the leftist idea that any action taken by a white person against a person who is not white is a “racist” action if there are negative consequences involved. I think we all know that there probably wasn’t one student in the crowd who could have defined racism.

Not, also, the comments made by one Peter Zedrin. Zedrin says that he is a freelance writer in Providence. Then, this gem: “I was cheering when the Pentagon got hit because I know about the brutality of the military. The American flag is nothing but a symbol of hate and should be used for toilet paper for all I care.”

Ignorant piece of crap. If you’ll look into the comments following the article you will see that one person identifies Zedrin as “ .. the guy with dreadlocks who hangs out on Thayer Street selling incense to students.” Freelance writer my left cheek.

Anyway … here’s your link. Read the article .. then be sure to read the responses. You’ll see these protestors called everything but a child of God.

GUN GRABBERS MISLEAD THE MEDIA—AGAIN

You might recall that, earlier this week, the Supreme Court refused to revive a lawsuit filed by New Orleans against gun manufacturers. Almost immediately the gun grabbers were out there whining.

One such whiner was Dennis Henigan, the director of the Brady Center to Prevent Handgun Violence. When he commented about the status of nearly 30 lawsuits filed against the firearms industry, Henigan said, "You have cases going both ways. It's pretty much split down the middle."

Wow! That means the gun manufacturers and the anti-gunners have been at a stalemate for years, right?

Wrong. Robert Delfay is president and CEO of the National Shooting Sports Foundation. He says a total of 18 municipal lawsuits have been decided so far. 17 of them have been either fully or partially dismissed in favor of gun makers. Every appellate court decision so far has been in favor of the firearms industry. The high courts of New York and California recently ruled in favor of firearms manufacturers in private lawsuits, too! That's hardly "split down the middle."

The judicial consensus is that gun makers cannot be held liable for the misuse of their products--and still Dennis Henigan lies to the media by saying the decisions have been a 50-50 split.

Do you need any more proof that gun control groups have to lie to advance
their cause?

TED TURNER OPENS HIS MOUTH AGAIN

So Ted Turner thinks the U.S. should be more "humble." In a speech Wednesday in Washington (which, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, was rambling and a little profane), Turner said, "If you're rich and powerful, you better be nice and humble...You can get a lot more cooperation out of people if they like you."

Hey, Ted. I have news for you. We're not the "land of the nice and home of the humble." The global scene isn't a popularity contest. Our goal is not to make everyone happy. Our current goal is to ensure that Americans everywhere are free to live their lives in peace without the threat of terrorism. If that means stepping on some sandals, then so be it.
