SouthernEra Buys Platinum Project Near Messina Mine Site

TORONTO -(Dow Jones)- SouthernEra Resources Ltd. (T.SUF) has acquired the Millennium platinum group metals project on the Eastern limb of the Bushveld igneous complex in South Africa, for an undisclosed amount.

In a news release, SouthernEra said the Bushveld complex hosts the world's largest platinum group metals deposits and is the site of SouthernEra's 70.4% owned Messina mine.

The company said a drilling program will start shortly. The proposed fieldwork and drilling is estimated to take three months at a cost of $200,000.

SouthernEra produces platinum group metals and diamonds.
