18 total cases in the US between the East coast & the Mississippi between 1900 & 1952 & 4 cases in the last 2 months. There is little doubt that the Florida case was a deliberate infection. However, I also heard this hoax problem.. Message 16494604 So. I'm interested in the statistics of the problem....If several hundred Anthrax tests are carried out, how many normally prove positive anyway? Do any tests prove positive by accident? I think some double checking is necessary before we panic. And, well, we should not panic anyway.
