BK, If you want to lower emissions in the cities, and on the highways, put every city bus in impound, and vigorously check, and fine, diesel rigs on the highway. My Jeep checks out just the same as any car, and I have asked the testers in several different places to be sure. If you are at a disadvantage, and must drive a miniature vehicle, I feel you pain. Ya sure!! Just like Clinton felt our pain.
There is no problem with fuel efficiency, if you need the cargo room to facilitate your needs in life. Those that own SUV's have a larger fuel bill. So what?? That's nobody's business but theirs. There is plenty of oil of the politically correct, namby pambys would allow it to be tapped into. Great deposits of oil could be pumped up, without destruction to the environment. They can even hide the pumps after the wells come in so they look like part of the landscape. If anyone don't want to drill for oil, they ain't gonna have it. Tough shit!! |
