Here's a simple answer to our dependency on foreign oil: All personal vehicles by the year 2004 must get 40 mpg highway and 30 mpg city driving. It's time for action, not placating "everybody-else-but-me" suburbanites driving Suburbans. Hell, the '96 Buick Park Avenue I drive already gets 35 mpg on the highway. And it's a big-ass car.
