Robert:

"Intel has no debt, the higher margin low debt company ALWAYS wins a price war (especially if the market is being increasingly commoditized)."

You gotta be able to convince the marketplace (not just the OEM's) that your product stacks up against the competition otherwise the higher margin and low debt becomes lower margin and rapidly accumulating debt, real quick...INTC and its company dependant P4 are at that precipice right now. The flashpoint is about to occur as AMD's fresh XP product lineup takes on INTC's long-on-promise/short-on-price/performance (i.e. stale) P4 product lineup. The P4 hyping and arm twisting in q3 may have resulted in masking the P4's price/performance shortcomings a little longer but now that AMD has successfully unleashed the palomino based XP, the P4 no longer has any place to hide. The time for P4 excuses is now behind us...Gonna be very interesting going forward as the P4 continues its stumbling ways in its attempts to keep pace with the price/performance of AMD's XP...
