I knew, and know, lots of "radicals" (and I use that term because of ideas that are outside of the mainstream at this time, certainly outside of it 20 years ago) who aren't separtists. That was always "another" category.
And, yes, the intention was to stir things up, either just provoking women, period, or to provoke them between each other. I don't know the person well enough to know if was merely in bad taste, or was more pointed in its intent. At a time such as this in the world, it is certainly boorish.
And I think you can well guess that this is not a forum, nor "overall" group I would discuss matters of such a personal nature. I just couldn't resist the little poke at you. <g> It's not something I discuss much in any forum, having talk it near to death. You know how "women's groups" are. Talktalktalk. What do you feeeeeeel. Let's process. And that music. The only syrup I like is on my pancakes. (does that count as tickling?)
And with apologies to the great definer, Karen (more tickling), for me there is no "definition" of either radical or feminist. We're just a big ol' spectrum of people and ideas.
That was almost fun. <g>
