HI JT; The way they calclate earnings I don't see how anyone can come up with an "apples" to "apples" comparison..it seems to me the Anal-cyst just try to hype a style they want the public to see at any given time, they are not independent and pressure from their firm seems to skew the view. ---------------- What I haven't run into is some sort of data base with historical ( DEBT levels to Sales ) or assests. But assests can be missleading also , seldom does book value equal what it says it is. So I would think sales would be a better yard stick. All that aside I remember years ago when I first started looking at VALUE LINE..and how we always looked at DEBT and screened out any stock that had over 20% of debt to it's market cap hell if you did that now you wouldn't find very much to look at.
