Gaps. Wondering what the perspective is on gaps down or up. I have understood that true gaps that play by the "generally get filled" prediction are new gaps. In other words, they are gaps in new territory of a rising price move. For example the gaps that have been getting filled during the past 18 months are gaps in stock charts that were made on the way up during the mania.

But the gap that occurred in JNPR today is different? It is a gap up in old territory. Is there still a tendency for this gap to get filled or are we off to a new ball game?
