I agree with your take. It's not that we should encourage the use of drugs but lets at least be honest enough as a society to say that alcohol is a drug and the leading killer of people when it comes to drugs. Now, personally, I see different levels of drugs and abuse as I'm sure you do too. But for too many years society has attempted to justify one over the other based on popular consumption.
