There is such a thing as too much info. I especially disliked the leak about Bush blowing up at Congress about leaks from those assholes we elect. Now he has had to back off because he tried to cut the biggest mouths out of the loop.

The problem with this operation is that there isn't a lot of info to be had about Special Forces operations; they're supposed to be secret, some forever. We know all about what we have done overtly. It's just that we are only flying as many sorties in a week as we did in an hour in Desert Storm. We even had press people capturing prisoners. Remember the incident where a reporter, with a cameraman and soundman went out in a jeep and came back with something like a 100 or 400 Iraqi's who surrendered to them as fast as they could. They were babbling something about the "Bush" man. There are 30,000 Americans and maybe 5,000-10,000 others compared to 500,000 in Desert Storm.

Not much news to be had without a much bigger air war and no ground invasion. We've bombed 85% of what they have already and most of it resulted in an improvement in property values.<g> But this one will last more than three weeks, so keep your spirits up. Us news junkies will eventually get our fill.
