Bush pointed out that you need a special retrofitted plane to deliver the weapons, so the FBI is keeping a careful watch on all the hangars where that work could be done.

Unfortunately the scenario you described fits most large outdoor sporting events. And we can't secure the airspace around thousands of high school and college football games every week.

But I agree with you that if we haven't seen it by now it is less and less likely with time. I really expected a large incident (even blowing up a gas truck in a traffic jam would do) last week. So far, nada.

Makes me think our security efforts are pretty effective.
