I respect your interpretation, Karen. You didn't comment as to the inferences, so I presume you felt there were none. Take this statement: Every jock in America needs to know that a brawny gay rugger player helped save this country from a calamity. How would you feel about this statement: Every boy in America needs to know that a brawny gay bricklayer named John Wayne Gacy murdered 25 young men and buried their bodies in his basement Would you defend the second statement as factually accurate and absent of any inferences about gays?
