Two men arrested for theft of explosives

HOUSTON, Texas (CNN) -- Two men were arrested Friday for the theft of about 700 pounds of explosives, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms said.

However, Perot said the 700-pound weight of the explosives stolen may be misleading.

"The actual explosive charges in these devices is quite small," she said. "The weight mainly comes from the metal cylinders encasing the explosive."
