The technology packed into this product is VERY hot. Starting with their maps: DestinAtor uses the same NAVTECH premier maps that are found in the onboard navigation systems of cars like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Porsche, Acura, Lexus, Land Rover, Jaguar and many others. According to PowerLOC, "Navigation Technologies has built a database unrivaled in precision by employing the industry's most extensive development and quality control program, executed by the largest team of cartographers of any company in the world. I've had a blast with this review! I am a huge fan of intuitive interfaces with few unnecessary features, and DestinAtor delivers! Operation is simple and only requires a minute of configuration, then you are ready to hit the road, with full-time "navigator" support to tell you where to go, and even where to go if you get off track. PowerLOC uses map data from a giant in the map collection industry, so you can expect accurate results no matter where you go within North America (and coming soon: Europe, too). And, above all, the solution doesn't tie up a CompactFlash or PCMCIA slot, so you can use your flash memory, and put it to good use, such as blasting your favorite MP3s as you drive across the country with only an electronic map. As one of the most economical packages on the market, DestinAtor is definitely a GPS product to be reckoned with!…
