Zeev, don't overlook government bureaucracy. Those rations are produced and stockpiled far in advance for use worldwide. If you took the time to repackage and relabel every one for a customized PR campaign, they could have been delayed for months. We needed to get food on the ground ASAP, so we dipped into stockpiles to do it. There will be plenty of other PsyOps tricks underway, have no doubt. FWIW, I believe peanut butter is a highly concentrated form of protein for minimal weight in the parcel. And hungry people are not going to worry about the contents too much.
