The hierarchy of self-anointed demi-gods. The highest level had been held by Saddam Hussein, belligerent, anti-West (regardless of his personal spending at the cost of Iraqi citizens under his control), and self-proclaimed "sword of Allah" (my personal interpretation). What will he do now that bin Laden has usurped his roll as the highest demi-god? Does he lose the militant support he had to bin Laden? Does he become more aggressive? Will he continue to support Al Qaeda? Does he take over the Al Qaeda cells in Iraq? Cut off financial support to those he does not control? Will he lose control over the anti-Western militants and hence his absolute control in Iraq? Just ponderings …. JimBo
