powdery substance turns out to be confetti washingtonpost.com the overreactions will probably number the actual terrorist acts by hundreds to 1. when there was a rapist scare around here two years ago, neighbors would be calling the police almost nightly. i got stopped two times on occasions when i walked the dog after dark. never mind the rapist was hispanic, 5 foot 5, and wore cargo pants, and I'm 9 inches taller and don't shop at Old Navy.
