Isn't that comforting? Thanksgiving is only a month away. I think that I will celebrate it with renewed vigor this year. I usually don't bother much with holidays. It's just not in my nature. Many times I have reflected, however, on my good fortune that my grandparents has the moxie to leave Eastern Europe and I was spared communism. Well, communism is beginning to look like a walk in the park compared with cultures like Afghanistan and Iran. My whining days are over. Well, maybe I'll indulge in a little ritualistic whining, but as for whining in earnest, nope. Karen
