Dale, as I said >>CPHD is another matter<< I'm not talking about stock price, just Y2K and anthrax.

Dale and Justa, I know, automobile "accidents" claims about 50,000 lives in US alone, eating not fully cooked eggs and salmonella poisoning claims hundred of lives, flu claims about 20,000 lives and "natural causes" or aging claims millions of lives, long distance air traveling claims tens of lives...

The difference here is someone is intentionally to kill and the possibility to mass disperse bacteria and virus to cause more death. It is not like Y2K, going over at a particular date and if there is nothing happens that we are safe. They'll keep coming, sad to say. You might say one death, what is the big deal, then what is the big deal, in the order of magnitude of auto death? We accept the auto death rate as a way of life, can we accept that order of magnitude of death rate by the terrorists? People have a sense of control over auto death, at least that is what they think, or what they eat, but there is no direct control over terrorist acts.

>>And we are supposed to go nuts over a marginal threat and "vaccinate" everyone with the 18-month treatment required to be effective at all?
<<
What said or implied we should go nut? <g> At least one person I know is not enquiring gas mask or cipro.

Oops, just realized I replied to Dale's message in the "Pump's... emphasis on short selling" thread instead of Tom's Amateur thread that I thought I was in. Sorry, did not mean to get in your way. Good luck with your trading.

KC.
